about

"Look Out" was born in the early 1980s as a song called "Jump The Gun." Mike reworked the riff and turned it into a song about the devastation you might encounter when the sweet, innocent-seeming woman you thought you knew turns out to be a nightmare of epic proportions.

lyrics

Iron fist in a velvet glove
Softest touch, but a hardcore love
She will get you all alone
Wrap you up in her heart of stone
She will make the torment strong
It will go on far too long
Seems so right, but she can see
The trap she's laid leaves no place to flee

Look out! She's comin' for you
Look out! What will you do?
Look out! It's like a frontal attack
But you better watch your back

Innocent and sweet she seems
Watch out for her wicked schemes
Lays her web just like a snare
Lures you in with her seductive stare
Prison cell from her own mind
Dripping lips will steal you blind
Jail bars built by her hot lust
Watch yourself, you'll bite the dust

(chorus)

Mental anguish, a tortured mind
Twisted web that she's designed
Lures you in with her seductive charms
And with a smile that so disarms

(chorus)
