So here it is: the only surviving recording that Animal and Rebel did during our original incarnation! We got this to sound as good as was possible…which ain't saying much. This was recorded in Animal's living room in 1985, on a Fostex 4-track cassette recorder. It was pretty advanced technology for the time, and Animal still owns the machine. This features Rebel on guitar, and Animal on drums and lead vocals. Neither of us owned a bass, so we substituted a piano; Animal had read somewhere about a recording technique for piano, and he under up putting the SINGLE mic they owned in a metal Maxwell House coffee can behind the piano. The results are about as raw as you might imagine, but Iron Fist completists will want to hear what we were all about as randy teenagers.

To the best of our knowledge, there are NO surviving high school photos of Rebel and Animal together! Thus, the cover art is made up of two separate photos from slightly later in the '80s…it was a close as we could come.
